About Event

QuoVadis is the Annual Management and Cultural Festival of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi.It is a three day Extravaganza: A celebration of sorts, a dense, a display of management acumen and knowledge and conviviality which characterizes college life;a festival oozing with fun,vibrancy and entertainment. It is the battleground for the best minds in the country for an array of events.Theme for Quo Vadis'16 is Enabling India digitally. The Director of IIFT, Dr. Surajit Mitra is very keen to align the institute’s efforts with that of the government initiatives and thus help achieve the dream of ‘DIGITAL INDIA’. We as Melange - The Cultural Committee at IIFT plan to take this vision of digital literacy forward by the on ground and the online activities mentioned above and all the other activities that will take place during QuoVadis 2016.

Events

1. IIFT Half Marathon 2016 shall be conducted on 10th January 2016 with expected participation of 1000+ runners from colleges across Delhi-NCR region. This shall be the official launch of the theme.
2. Treasure Hunt is being conducted in collaboration with Radio One & Delhi Tourism on 17th January 2016.
3. IIFT Literary Festival 2016 on January 20th,2016 is a maiden fest for which we have confirmed Habib Faisal, Swanand Kirkire and shall be confirming Amish Tripathi and Ashwin Sanghi very soon.
4.Genesis, Entrepreneurship Summit shall be held on January 21st,2016 which shall involve mentors from reputed startups grooming the B plans of students from across UG and PG institutes.
5. QuoVadis'16 (Main Event) on January 22nd - 24th, 2016. Past editions of QuoVadis' star attractions include Vishal-Shekhar Duo ,Indian Ocean, Benny Dayal, Lucky Ali, Kailash Kher, Farhan Saeed (Jal). This year we plan to have Local Train for our Rock Night(22nd January 2016) and Amit Trivedi for our Star Night (23rd January 2016). Comedy Night on January 24th, 2016 shall see either EIC perform.
6. Other attractions include Sunburn Night, Hip Hop International(Regional Round), Femina Miss India Campus Princess(Regional Round) event and many informals (Raaga, Ramp Burn, Nukkad Natak,etc) are conducted as well .
7. Apart from these, we have management events. There shall be 9 management events in different domains and a Flagship Event-Shastra( 2.5 day event) for which there shall be a presence from the best B-schools across the nation participating across domains working on live projects/case studies in some of the best companies. The competitions shall be launched online and shall culminate in presentations to Leadership Teams from reputed corporated and winners stand a chance to win PPI/PPSI & prize money as the case may be. Other promotional activities are also being conducted in collaboration with 40 NGOs to promote our theme.
8. Apart from these we will have multiple informal events like Photography Competition,Short film making,tshirt designing, Dubsmash,Face painting,Minute to win it,Mr. and Ms Quo Vadis,Street quiz

Pro Nites

This year we plan to have Local Train for our Rock Night(22nd January 2016) and Amit Trivedi for our Star Night (23rd January 2016). Comedy Night on January 24th, 2016 shall see either EIC perform.
